The most expensive James Bond cars ever sold

One of the most expensive James Bond cars sold to date is the one and only Aston Martin DB5. Driven by Sean Connery in both Goldfinger 1964 and Thunderball 1965, the Aston Martin DB5 is equipped with many features. Features include a radar scanner, passenger ejector seat and retractable tire slashers. When up on auction at RM Auctions in London the DB5 went for an astonishing £2,912,000 and keeps its status as the most expensive car ever sold in James Bond history to this date.

Secondly, the next most costly car to be sold from a James Bond film is the Aston Martin DB10. This car sold for an impressive £2,434,500 and the whole lump sum was taken away from the Cristie’s auction block in London.  This model was completely custom-built by a manufacturer and featured in the James Bond film Spectre.

The third most expensive car which featured in two James Bond films including the Spy Who Loved Me and For Your Eyes Only is the Lotus Esprit Submarine. This custom made Lotus isn’t just any old car; it also had the capability to act as a real, working submarine. After many years, the car was taken to auction in RM Auctions in London where it was purchased for £744,468.
